Salmonella poisoning is not a laughing matter.  The salmonella bacteria attacks the stomach and intestines. In more serious cases, the bacteria may enter the lymph tracts, which carry water and protein to the blood, and the blood itself. The bacteria attack all age groups and both sexes. Children, the elderly and people who are already ill are much more likely to get a serious infection. Symptoms of salmonella poisoning are diarrhea, constipation, headaches, stomach cramps, nausea and vomitting, fever and blood in the feces.  Some cases of salmonella need to be treated with antibiotics.  Recently, there has been a huge recall on products that contain peanuts.  Thankfully, Prograde nutrition products are not on that list, but you might be surprised at what products are.  I’ve included the link here to the FDA’s list of recalled products: http://www.accessdata.fda.gov/scripts/peanutbutterrecall/index.cfm Keep you and your family safe.
