After losing her parents, 14-year old Annabel lives with her fisherman grandfather on Dolphin Island in an island paradise. She is surrounded by an extended family of loving but quirky island neighbors and her best friend is Mitzy --- a dolphin. Everything changes however when her maternal grandparents arrive from New York with a shady attorney in tow.
